A reception at the Alex & Ani boutique on Worth Avenue was the kickoff to the Junior League of the Palm Beaches‘ upcoming fundraiser.

The event took place Feb. 26 and also honored the underwriters, supporters and committee for eighth annual Worth Tasting on Worth Avenue.

The food and wine celebration takes place on April 11 in Via Amore Courtyard, 256 Worth Ave. and features specialty bites from local restaurants, along with wine, beer and signature cocktails.

VIP access is available and includes early admission to the event.

Lissen Ellington and Kimberly Gregory are chairwomen.

Proceeds from the Worth Tasting on Worth Avenue go to local community initiatives focused on serving children and young adults in the foster-care system.
