Membership in the Junior League of the Palm Beaches gives women the opportunity to give back to their community, develop their potential as leaders, and create lasting relationships with like-minded women.

Membership begins with participation in a New Member class.         

Fall Application are DUE Friday July 31, 2026.

We have two new member classes per League year: 

FALL TERM: August-December 2026.

• Applications Open May 1 – July 31, 2026
• Application Fee ($100) & Dues ($200) DUE July 31, 2026

SPRING TERM: January-May 2027. 

• Applications Open September 1 – December 5, 2026
• Application Fee ($100) & Dues ($200) DUE December 5, 2026

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the 2026-2027 New Member Class of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches you must:

1) Reach your 22nd birthday by May 31, 2026.

2) Possess an interest in volunteer work.

3) Possess a commitment to community service. 

4) Possess an interest in developing your potential for voluntary community participation.

5) Complete the required volunteer application 

New Member Commitments

New members are required to complete a training course to train, educate, and learn how to be effective and informed volunteers. New Members will learn about AJLI, the Junior League of the Palm Beaches history, and the community it serves. New Members are encouraged to participate in League volunteering, fundraising events, and social functions. 

To ensure that all New Members receive the training needed to serve as effective, active members of the Junior League, participation in the following activities is required:

New Member Meetings

• Attend at least 3 out of 5 New Member Meetings at JLPB headquarters:
  • Fall 2026 New Member Dates
    • Retreat Saturday August 22 9am-12pm
    • Fall New Member Meetings Tuesdays 6pm-8pm
      • September 1, October 15*, November 3, December 1

*Please note the Oct. 15, meeting is on a Thursday.

General Member Meetings

• Attendance is required at 2 General Member Meetings in your term, held the 3rd Tuesday of the month 6:30-7:30pm at locations across Palm Beach County. 

New Member Project/Volunteer Hours

• Complete new member projects and/or earn 10 points.

Upon completion of the New Member course New Members will reach Active Member status. Active membership involves placement onto a committee and voting eligibility.
