Whitney Pettis Jester, Secretary

Whitney Pettis Jester joined the Junior League of the Palm Beaches in 2016. Whitney wanted to be involved with JLPB since a young age, as her mother was an active member and Recording Secretary for the League while Whitney was growing up. She was drawn to the League’s well-rounded mission of voluntarism, developing women and improving our communities and is honored to serve with such an outstanding group of women. Whitney has a history of League service in leadership roles including Communications Liaison Chair, Communications Chair, Points Tracker Chair, and most recently, Public Relations Chair. Whitney earned the JLPB Leadership Award in 2019.

Whitney is from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a BS in Merchandising and Minor in Business Administration. Professionally, Whitney has over twelve years’ experience in luxury marketing and digital strategy. In her current role as Director of Marketing & Merchant Relations at The Gardens Mall she is responsible for developing and executing engaging marketing, public relations, social media, guest services, advertising strategies and community partnerships. She currently lives with her husband, Shane (and their two dogs), in Jupiter. 

In addition to her service with JLPB, Whitney is ingrained in the community through her involvement as the Marketing Sub- Committee Chair for the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Council, Discover the Palm Beaches Marketing Advisory Council Member, and Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches Tourism Task Force Member. She founded Kiwanis Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches in 2010 and previously sat on the Cowboy Ball Committee for The Arc of Palm Beach County. Whitney was named one of Palm Beach Illustrated’s “The Palm Beach 100,” Palm Beach County’s Most Influential Business Leaders, in 2020 and 2021.
