Junior League of the Palm Beaches sees latest lines by designer

Camille Murphy Kubicek, Christian Siriano and Angela Vecellio attend a kickoff reception for the upcoming 75th anniversary Diamond Jubilee for Junior League of The Palm Beaches.

The spotlight was on designer Christian Siriano at a reception Nov. 20 hosted by the Junior League of the Palm Beaches at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

Siriano gained fame after winning season four of the television show, Project Runway.

Guests were treated to custom fittings from his latest collection of gowns and resort wear. Delray Beach artist Amanda Johnson displayed her hand-painted fabrics, pillows, paintings and furniture.

Both Siriano and Johnson donated 10 percent of their proceeds that day to the Junior League.

About 80 guests mixed and mingled at the party, which is part of the 75th anniversary celebration of the League.

Resident Angela Vecellio, with Camille Murphy Kubicek, are chairing the diamond jubilee gala March 12 at Eau Palm Beach.
