Junior League of the Palm Beaches and Junior Assembly Combine Forces
to Offer a Dynamic Cotillion Schedule for Eligible Students

Palm Beach County – The Junior League of the Palm Beaches is once again joining forces with Junior Assembly for the 2014-2015 Cotillion season. Cotillion is the Junior League’s oldest program. The purpose of Cotillion is to cultivate young people to develop, appreciate, and respect their roles in society through dance and social etiquette education. The program was founded on the principles of personal pride, social confidence and community involvement.

Cotillion meets the second Wednesday of each month, from October to April (excluding March). All six sessions will be held in Palm Beach, rotating between The Colony Hotel, The Beach Club, and Mar-A-Lago.

Dances are scheduled as follows:

  • Groovin’ in the Graveyard’ October 8th at The Colony Hotel;
  • ‘Turkey Trot’ November 12th  at The Beach Club;
  • ‘Snowflake Ball’ December 10th at Mar-A-Lago;
  • ‘Country Hoe Down’ January 14th at The Beach Club;
  • ‘Cupid’s Ball’ February 11th at The Colony Hotel; and
  • ‘Red Carpet Ball’ April 8th at Mar-A-Lago.

Ages and times are divided as follows: Kindergarten – 2nd grade from 4 – 5:15 p.m., 3rd – 5th grade from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m., 6th – 9th grade 6:30 – 8 p.m., with the Red Carpet Ball as an all ages event from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Registration is $425 per student. For households with more than one child, additional registrations are reduced to $400 per additional student. The first event, ‘Groovin in the Graveyard,’ will be held October 8th—so the time to register is now!
