2016 Recap

It was a day filled with fun, food, and fitness at Kids in the Kitchen! The annual event organized by The Junior League of the Palm Beaches took place on Saturday, April 23, 2016 and was hosted at the South Florida Science Center. Kids of all ages enjoyed exercise demos, cooking classes, a gardening exhibit, and all sorts of tips on how to live a happy, healthy life. More than 45 businesses provided education and entertainment to over 300 children

“Kids in the Kitchen was a great success due to the hard work and overwhelming generosity of our sponsors and vendors,” said Kelly Doyle, lead organizer of the event and Junior League member. “I am so proud to have been a part of this event, and would like to give special thanks to our sponsors: the South Florida Science Center, TentLogix, Rudolph and Associates, Dr. Lawrence and Maria Dario, Doyle Insurance, PGA Animal Clinic, Robert Nicholas Insurance Group, Sage Dental and the Michael and Annie Falk Foundation.”

Some highlights from the day include a top-notch obstacle course to keep the kids moving provided by Gym Like This (www.gymlikethis.com). The crowd favorite skeeball hosted by Jupiter Bounce (www.jupiterbounce.com), and of course, aprons provided by Palm Beach Children’s Hospital (www.palmbeachchildrenshospital.com ) for the attendees who participated in the cooking demonstrations.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and participants who helped us make Kids in the Kitchen 2016 another successful year!
